Back in 2012, after finishing his Tourism and Heritage Management degree, Juan Victor founded Perro Tour along with his friend Jorge, delivering hundreds of walking tours through Valparaiso since then.
By late 2013, Perro Tour started delivering wine tours in Casablanca Valley, by mixing the huge knowledge our guides have about our region, their love to wine, and the excellent sommeliers and wine makers we work with. From 2014 on, Perro Tour also delivers multi-day tours and trips.
Perro, literally 'dog', also means 'friend' in Chilean Spanish, and that's one the hallmarks of Perro Tour: to make you feel like you are walking through the city with an old friend.
Juan Victor is very passionated about Valparaiso, its fascinating history, its stunning landscape, and its hidden, colorful alleys. He is a lover of wine as well.
Juan Victor has always loved to hike and travel, which has led him to achieve a huge knowledge of Chile and neighboring countries.
Currently, Juan Victor spends half a year leading tours in Valparaiso and Santiago; the other half, he is leading road trips in Southern Chile and Argentina, including Northern Patagonia, the Lake District, and Chiloe Island.
Juan Victor speaks English and Spanish.
